Description
Caterpillar is a Federal Contractor. This position as an EEO/AA Consultant serves on the US Compliance team. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience and subject matter expertise in US compliance, employment law, and/or HR operations. They will provide HR policy and compliance support to HR Business Partners and, understanding the complexities of compliance requirements, translate them into business process and system requirements for cross-functional partners. The Consultant will be a trusted partner with our facility EEO Coordinators, ensuring they understand our Affirmative Action/EEO requirements and in addition, will be the liaison between the EEO Coordinators and the compliance officers leading the OFCCP establishment reviews.
Duties
Manage OFCCP Establishment Reviews for selected establishments from scheduling letter, through submission and serving as point of contact for the Compliance Officer through closure.
Manage Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) requirements
Manage Affirmative Action Programs (AAP)
Create and Deliver EEO Coordinator Training
Manage Facility EEO Coordinators’ Teams Group for communication, training, resources, etc
Process Owner for Reasonable Accommodations
Serve as member of ADEPT Employee Resource Group Advisory Board
EEO Coordinator for Peoria AB and Deerfield Locations
Partner with Total Rewards Job Evaluation team to assign EEO Job Groups and Job Category as needed
Update US Census Codes on Job Code Tables as frequently as provided by the EEOC
Create and analyze compensation data for enterprise needs and during establishment reviews
Basic Qualifications
5 Years of Functional HR or Recruiting Experience
2 Years of developing an Affirmative Action Program for an Establishment
Advanced user of Microsoft Excel
Top Candidates Will Also Have
HR Certification
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively through all layers of the organization
Experience managing OFCCP Compliance Reviews for a Federal Contractor
