We are currently looking for an energetic Human Resources Assistant; this position performs support to the office and reports directly to the Director of Human Resources and Business Development.
Essential Duties:
– Must be able to maintain extreme confidentiality in all aspects of the position.
– Review, research and make recommendations for improvement of Company policies, procedures, and practices.
– Review and research industry trends and employment legislation updates to ensure Company compliance.
– Assist with the review, research, and creation of updates and additions to the Company’s personnel policies and procedures to ensure proper compliance from all team members.
– Participation in committees and special projects.
– Assist with preparation of financial statements, reports, memos, presentations, invoices, and other documents.
– Assist with research of benefits plans and vendors to identify those with the best value.
– Assist with maintaining payroll records, paid time off balances, creation of timecards, and attendance requests.
– Assist with research, information gathering, and compilation for projects including an annual review of the Company policies and procedures.
– Assist with coordination of daily benefits processing including COBRA, terminations, changes, enrollments, beneficiaries, and rollovers.
– Assist with the creation and implementation of Company events such as Customer Service Appreciation Week, Safe and Sound Week, and Compliance and Ethics Week.
– Perform other clerical duties such as filing, printing, photocopying, scanning, and faxing as necessary
– Answering, screening, and forwarding incoming phone calls while providing basic information when needed.
– Attend continuing Education Seminars either in person or via webinar per Upper Management’s request.
– Understands and complies with all policies and procedures in the Company.
