CDS Logistics & Home Services is seeking a dynamic professional to work with our team of Software Developers to create innovative programs for a leading final mile logistics company. The Front-End Software Developer will be responsible for working with multiple teams and partners to build employee and client-facing user interfaces in an agile environment, reporting directly to the Software Development Manager. Our primary goal is to ensure excellent operational standards are met and maintain high customer satisfaction by providing employees and customers with custom state of the art technology to meet the demands of a growing industry.

Front-End Software Developer

In this role, you will have the ability to work remotely while supporting the Software Development Team in completing project-based work. You can anticipate this role to focus on driving change in our business by creating an enhanced user interface experience on various web and mobile (iOS/Android) platforms. Your efforts will be focused on streamlining our user experiences while exceeding our customers’ and employees’ expectations. This position requires strong communication skills surrounding requirements analysis, project design and execution. A successful applicant will be able to:

Essential Job Functions

• Work with multiple teams and partners to build efficient and effective client-facing user interfaces in an agile environment
• Use a progressive technology stack including Single-Page Applications, .Net Core and ASP.Net framework and the Microsoft SQL Server database
• Collaborate with highly talented teammates to not just solve problems, but find elegant, accessible technology solutions for business needs
• Learn new skills and refine existing skills through professional development with the ability to gain experience in a wide variety of areas
• Deliver an exceptional user experience to CDS’ nationwide last mile delivery operations and through our vast customer-facing tools
• Develop code and integrate IT solutions by using appropriate development methodologies and standards, adopting/applying standard architectures/patterns, taking into account critical performance characteristics, security measures and customer requirements.
• Support of existing applications and databases.
• Evaluate new technologies to determine if and how they can be utilized to enhance our strategic objectives.

Required Education and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field or the equivalent in education and experience required.
• Knowledge of object-oriented development principles.
• 2+ years’ experience with Vue.js.
• 2+ years’ experience with .Net Core.
• Experience with version control.
• Experience with .Net languages (C#), ASP.NET, MVC, HTML5, CSS Javascript and related framework.

Preferred Qualifications

• Proficiency in backend development
• Proficiency in SQL and database design.

Supervisory Responsibility

• This position will not be responsible for the management of others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 – $90,000.00 per year
