Medical Scribe

Bellevue, WA

Work hours are typically 9 am – 5 pm Monday-Friday. Scribes do not work weekends, holidays, or evening hours.

Pay Range: $20.00-$22.00

Acute Pain Therapies has locations in Bellevue, WA. We are expanding our staff and currently looking for a Medical Scribe. As the premier Pain Clinic in the Seattle-Tacoma area, we are committed to be the preferred provider of pain management services in the region. For over 20 years our team has made a positive difference in the lives of our patients by providing exceptional pain care. As a member of our team, you will have the unique opportunity to learn and work in two roles: as a medical scribe working with one of our providers, and as a back-office support staff member. About thirty hours a week will be spent scribing, and 10 hours in various administrative or clinical duties. This could include working with physicians & nurses in Ketamine procedures or working in the procedure room during interventional pain management procedures.

Experience is not necessary. We have a robust training program that will give you the experience & knowledge to bolster your resume for Medical or Physician Assistant school. We are looking for motivated candidates who have a passion for the medical field and have a desire to work and learn in a fun, high paced, team environment while taking on an array of relevant clinical duties.

As a Medical Scribe your duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Assisting Physicians and Advanced Practice Providers in the clinical setting
• Data Entry
• Scribing
• Obtaining prior authorizations for medications and procedures
• Patient insurance verification
• Triage patient calls and concerns
• Assist with interventional procedures
