We are looking for an experienced and high-energy Human Resources Manager. The primary function of this role is to provide accurate reporting, data analytics and training and compliance support for our human capital management system (HCM).
The Human Resources Manager will have an opportunity to partner with divisions to review and advance employment standards regarding HCM and time and attendance which represent the Cedar Fair brand, meet our core principles, and support compliance requirements.

How Youll Make A Difference:
The Human Resources Manager, HRIS and Employment Standards is viewed as a technical subject matter expert (SME) that will support and partner with Corporate and internal business partners in all areas of our Human Capital Management system (Ceridian Dayforce to launch late 2021), any ancillary systems that support the HCM functionality, and support the Time and Attendance system (UKG Dimensions launching Spring 2021) Workforce Management reporting requirements. This role oversees the HRIS team and will support the aspects of data integrity, reporting, analytics within Human Resources, along with the applicable regulations and standards supporting those functions. Serve as a business partner with the departments and the team to assist with associate related inquiries and participate in the Manager on Duty program.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Managing the data integrity, functionality, reporting, and user adoption of Ceridian Dayforce. Assist team in Change Management principles of adoption of the HCM platform.
Serve as the park liaison for all matters with HCM to include change management, communications, implementation, process improvements, and become an internal Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Ceridian Dayforce.
Provide reporting, analytics and assists with dashboards which deliver Business Intelligence needs in the areas of headcount, data changes, self-service usage, employment trends, etc.
Ensure communications with Corporate team and local teams regarding interfaces and updates to product enhancements are represented and timely.
Serve as the park point of contact to manage and resolve any issues with HCM system, monitor data integrity, interfaces, analyze data flows, test system changes and ensure all are operating correctly with the support of the technical team.
Troubleshoot and follow ticket resolution process to appropriately Remedy any system related technical issues.
Assist in required review, testing and implementation of HCM system upgrades or patches.
Collaborate with functional and technical staff to coordinate application of upgrade or fixes, maintain HCM system tables, as required and document all processes and results.
Run and support a variety of reports or queries using appropriate reporting tools and assist in development of standard report queue for ongoing needs.
Maintain awareness of current trends in HCM and time and attendance software with a focus on product and service development, delivery and support and application of key technologies.
Participate in employee investigations. Recommend appropriate resolution on employment matters.
Partners with the HR team and department managers to drive necessary improvements of HCM tool and ancillary systems to support HCM and time and attendance needs.
Oversees compliance by ensuring audits are conducted and ensure employment standards are pushing to incorporate state/federal/organizational requirements for continual process improvement.
Maintains knowledge of current and emerging laws and regulations, and periodically reviews and updates applicable standards, trends and issues affecting the company work environment and policies.
Be available to subordinate team members, park employees, and managers as a first point of contact for questions and guidance on fundamental HR topics and issues, provide guidance on associate relations concerns with consistency and employment standards in the forefront of mind.
Manage assigned budget, recommend budgetary needs which support the efficient use of funds in all unit functions and activities.
Handle sensitive information with extreme confidentiality.
Participate in the Manager On-Duty program.

Were Looking For:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or related field.
Requires 4 to 6 years of direct experience in HCM/HRIS or a combined amount of human resources generalist experience working within HCM/HRIS solutions.
Related certifications, active professional memberships, or experience in the HCM/HRIS or Human Resources background is preferred.
Proven relationship management, diplomacy, tact, and consultative abilities.
Microsoft Office with high proficiency in Excel.
Excellent communication skills to make presentations and interact with various groups and individuals, such as the immediate supervisor, other park managers, park department heads and employees, subordinates, family members of employees, job applicants, corporate employees, vendors and the general public.
A proven analytical problem-solver concerning systems and data issues.
Current knowledge in the following areas of human resources management, iCIMS or candidate management software, HCM experience preferably in Ceridian Dayforce, Time and Attendance system knowledge- UKG Dimensions (Kronos) preferred, compliance management, employment law and records management.
Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality
Ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow through on assignments, must have a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to be flexible and adjust and respond positively to changing business conditions.
Proactive and collaborative approach to issue resolution and process improvement.
Attention to detail and strong organizational skills are a must.
Ability to work nights, weekends and holiday periods to meet business needs.
