Cellular Recycler is in the process of re-platforming our eCommerce channel sales
to modernize and drive our direct-to-consumer success. We are looking for a
junior level front-end web developer to be part of our team that is revamping our
online image. This job is on-site at our Boulder, CO offices, however schedules and
partial remote work are flexible.
Cellular Recycler is a Boulder, CO based company that specializes in the reuse and
end-of-life recycling of cellular handsets and small electronics. Through our non-
profit partners, general collections program, and Carrier relationships Cellular
Recycler is able to reuse or properly recycle millions of cellular handsets and small
electronics each year. While our domestic partnerships have raised money for non-
profits, our international efforts have allowed us to positively impact the
environment on a global scale.
Our work atmosphere is young, fun, and pushing the latest in technology and
education. Each employee has their own personalized ergonomic workstation in
our modern space. Fresh daily ground coffee and organic fruit is available in our
full kitchen. Our company is pet friendly so no need to leave the dog at home.
At the end of a shift, our employees can be found enjoying our on-site disc golf
course and pump track or playing pool and foosball in the warehouse. Monthly
company events include catered parties and various action-packed field trips.

Job requirements:
– Experience with HTML, JavaScript, GIT, and other modern front-end
development technologies
– Have a passion for writing clean, reusable, and elegant code
– Strong understanding of the proper use of CSS and LESS/SASS.
– Ability to leverage build systems to compile, minify and deploy web
applications
– General knowledge of coding best practices and paradigms
– Previous knowledge of eCommerce websites, shopping carts and interfaces
– Light design manipulation and extraction to move assets into web layouts
– Basic understanding of product catalog, attributes, and relationships
– Working knowledge of MySQL or another relational database system
– Previous experience with Magento 2.x a major plus
– Knowledge of PHP and the LAMP stack also a plus
– Previous experience writing front-end web applications, graduation from
code school/bootcamp, or a degree in CS/CE
Job responsibilities include:
– Working with internal stakeholders to define the vision of the future
eCommerce presence
– Working with back-end web developers to create a unified end-product
– Collaborating with designers to balance UX with ease of implementation
– Transforming designs into front-end UI, UX and overall functionality
– Ability to problem solve and utilize a consultative approach to drive positive
outcomes
– Troubleshoot issues and crush bugs
– Imagineering solutions through intuitive and creative UI that solve business
problems and use-cases.

Pay: $75,000.00 – $85,000.00 per year
