By joining the team as a Human Resource Representative, you will have meticulous attention to detail and a passion for continuous improvement. While the HR Representative will handle various HR processes and procedures, they will also be an integral part of streamlining our current HR transactional practices.

Essential Job Functions

• Performs clerical and administrative tasks to support HR operations
• Completes complex data entry, report generation, and audit activities to ensure the accuracy of employee data in HRIS systems (e.g., personnel actions, job assignment creation and maintenance)
• Assists with delivering core HR processes including onboarding, hiring, terminations, retirements, and program implementations
• Review and upload invoices into Accounts Payable system
• Initiate, review and oversee background checks
• Employee recognition (new hires on teams channel, anniversaries, baby boxes)
• Support events (Annual meeting, United Way)
• Hotel/car/flight reservations for candidates, new hires and existing employees

Knowledge Skills and Abilities

• Possesses analytical and problem-solving skills
• Possesses verbal and written communication skills, including negotiation, presentation, and influence skills
• Possesses multi-tasking and prioritization skills
• Must be fluent in all Microsoft packages
• Ability to prioritize and multi-task
• Possesses communication skills (e.g. written, verbal, presentation); mastery in English
• Ability to understand Central Insurance’s policies and processes
