This is a unique and exciting opportunity for a collaborative leader with exceptional interpersonal skills to become the Director of
Equal Opportunity and Title IX Compliance at Centre College. The Director is the designated campus official responsible for leading and
managing all aspects of the College’s Equal Opportunity and Title IX compliance obligations in accordance with the College’s
mission and values. The Director is responsible for overseeing policies, processes, procedures, and training related to these areas and will
work with the campus community to assure compliance with EO and Title IX regulations. This includes overseeing and monitoring compliance
with College policies related to EO and Title IX; implementing complaint procedures, including notification, investigation and disposition
of complaints; providing educational materials and training for the College community about prevention and policy; conducting and/or
coordinating investigations of complaints received pursuant to EO or Title IX; ensuring a fair and neutral process for all parties;
facilitating informal resolutions and supportive measures; and monitoring all other aspects of the College’s EO policies and procedures and
Title IX compliance.
The successful candidate will coordinate investigations into all complaints by any member of the Centre College
community against any other member based in whole or in part on one’s race, color, religion, national or ethnic origin, sex, sexual
orientation, gender identity or gender expression, age, disability, veteran’s status, or genetic information, or any characteristic
protected by applicable local, state, or Federal law (collectively with sex and gender discrimination “discrimination”).
This position will report to the Vice President for Legal Affairs.

The individual should be able to demonstrate they are an active listener and have excellent oral and written skills as well as sound
judgment and decision-making skills. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills are necessary. The individual should exhibit social
perceptiveness and skills that reflect the ability to communicate and work well with people from different cultural backgrounds. General
knowledge of relevant laws and government regulations is necessary in this role.

percent study abroad at least once. Centre College will buy a passport for every student who doesn’t have one. Back in Danville, students
can check out more than 100 clubs on campus. About 40 percent of students join the school’s popular Greek system, which has a handful of
fraternities and sororities. Student athletes can play for the Centre Colonels, varsity teams that mainly compete in the NCAA Division III
Southern Athletic Association. There are dozens of performances, from ballets to book readings, on campus each semester, and all full-time
students must attend at least 12 per year.

Centre is located in Danville, Kentucky, a city of 18,000 recognized for its high quality of
life, historic downtown, friendly people, beautiful landscapes, and easy access to Lexington, Louisville, and Cincinnati. Without venturing
far from campus in Danville, one can play frisbee golf at Henry Jackson Park, put in a canoe at Gwinn Island Marina, or explore the Central
Kentucky Wildlife Refuge. Longer car trips provide access to Lexington, Kentucky, in 40 minutes; Cincinnati in two hours; and Nashville,
Tennessee, in 3.5 hours. Ranked among the 10 Best Cities for Historic Preservation, as well as the 10 Best Small Towns in America, Danville
is a community with outdoor opportunities, charming neighborhoods, quality schools, top healthcare, and fun festivals like the annual Great
American Brass Band Festival. Compared to the rest of the country, Danville’s cost of living is 23.2% lower than the U.S. average.
