Position Summary
The primary focus of the Jr. Developer is full-stack development for internal and externally based support tools and applications. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, understating of APIs, software, and web development. The position is responsible for assisting the existing developer in all areas of reporting and portal development to include Service Performance, Quality Assurance, and Compliance Reporting, Billing, Marketing, Sales, Self-Help, and Client Feedback through the development of existing reporting software as well as customer web and software applications. Work will also include the utilization of Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and Software Development Kits (SDKs) for software used in the organization. This position has a focus on innovation, quick thinking, and service and delivery.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Administration and Management
Ensure datasets and data sources are working effectively and efficiently
Configure new datasets and sources when required
Troubleshoot dataset issues
Add/Remove Centre users and customers
Assist with onboarding/offboarding of customers, including cloning and removal of dashboards
Provide support and training to Centre team members
Assist in the management of BI tool support requests
Configure API, tools, and system integrations
Conduct database maintenance, management, and configuration
CMAC Program
Assist with creating project plans and scope of work for new projects, and participate in internal meetings for project scoping calls
Support project life cycle from initial concept to implementation
Assist in improvement of existing internal/external dashboards in BI Tools
Maintain and update database processes to ensure efficiency including break/fix issues within a hosted environment
Assist with updating and recreating database processes to fix issues that arise
Analyze, document, and reverse engineer Centre data sources
Expand data warehouse to include new sources of data through linking of database servers, e-mail parsing, ingesting spreadsheets, APIs, and custom-build applications
Collaborate with Centre internal stakeholders on monthly reporting, maintenance of the BI dashboards, and updates on antivirus, patching, and backups
Create and deliver ad-hoc reporting for audits and investors

Education/Experience/Certifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or equivalent work experience
Minimum of 2 years of web and/or software development experience
Proficiency in all or some of the following: .NET, C#, HTML, JavaScript, CSS
Possess knowledge of various database access methods with a focus on Microsoft SQL Server and MySQL
Experience with BrightGauge or any other business intelligence reporting tool a plus
Understanding of basic relational database concepts (Transact-SQL). Non-relational a plus
Work Environment and Physical Demands
Work primarily in a climate-controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential.
Occasional lifting (up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds) may be required.
