You will be responsible for ensuring that the all ongoing work is completed timely and accurately for our clients. You will provide support from client implementation through overseeing the ongoing payroll delivery from a service perspective. The ideal candidate will have a love of technology and proven track record of providing successful analysis and solutions to business problems related to payroll. They are a creative problem solver and a proactive agile learner who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. They are diligent and focused on details, particularly with communication, follow-up and documentation.Our ideal candidate also has:* Understanding of payroll software solutions or business application software with the ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause and impact analysis* Demonstrate troubleshooting and problem- solving skills* Ability to communicate with clients clearly and technically in both written and verbal communications* Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure while working with clients and internal groups* An independent learner, intellectually curious and comfortable digging for information, in order to understand and resolve issues* Experience in the payroll outsourcing or consulting industry* Ability to learn and assimilate information quickly with a desire to continually learn Dayforce experience a plus.Qualifications:* 5+ years end to end payroll processing experience* Multi state payroll tax knowledge a plus* Ability to recognize complex problems, analyze situations and provide suggested implemented resolutions* Ability to compare large data sets, organize data and summarize findings* Research and resolve issues related to pay, earnings, deductions, IRS limits and multi-state taxability* Understanding the Dayforce product, with the ability to troubleshoot and perform root cause analysis.* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including v-lookups and pivot tables* Strong analytical and critical thinking ability* Experience interacting directly with clients, preferably in a managed services or large, high volume payroll operations environment.* Experience providing guidance and best practice consulting clients.* Experience with Dayforce HCM or similar cloud payroll technology.* Demonstrated analysis, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.* Must have strong organizational skills, time management skills with multi-tasking ability, strong customer focus, and the ability to work independently and in a team to deliver a seamless experience to our clients* Proficiency in Microsoft Office and PowerPoint and experience tracking information in case management systems* Ability to compare and analyze system requirements to system functionality.* Strong technical knowledge of SQL and relational databases is desired.* Strong team-play skills, especially in high-pressure, fluid situations.* Experience in transferring knowledge to others (coaching & mentoring)* Have enthusiasm, a strong work ethic, and optimistic attitudeResponsibilities:* Primary consultant and subject matter expert for the Dayforce HCM Payroll module and Managed Services.* Support the day to day function of payroll processing.* Offer and provide in-depth analysis and recommends solutions to business problems.* Utilize technical and analytical skills to provide support ensuring the highest quality of service delivery to Ceridian users and its customers* Triage inquiries and issues and categorize the solution path.* Engage internally with cross functional resources to solve problems.* Perform data extraction for the payroll clients for the purpose of reporting.* Perform payroll recalculations and analyze recalculation results to ensure no issues.* Improve internal processing and research by creating Ad-Hoc queries, which meet the criteria needed to pull specific payroll related data from the system.* Drive better synchronization of data between Dayforce and 3rd party administrators. Reduce back and forth related to inconsistent data between Dayforce and payroll vendor systems.* Responsible for assisting on reporting: organize and extract data using SQL and MS Access.* Test updates to configuration changes made by our Support or Professional Services Team or release items impacting payroll.* Research eligibility issues which result from import extracts and provide direction of necessary adjustments and fixes to vendor files.* Audit and manage import/export files working to ensure data integrity and compliance.* Identify issues related to pay eligibility to employee populations, taking a global approach by recognizing issues and researching to see if other clients may be impacted.* Understand and explain systems features and benefits of the product line as it relates to customer needs.* Process Improvements – participate as a SME in quality improvement projects; lead and support internal organizational change initiatives; recommend product enhancements that will benefit our clients or the managed support model* Maintain the highest level of client satisfaction through a detailed understanding of the client’s business needs and business practices. —– Know your customer* Have an “I own it” attitude about deliverables, meeting deadlines and completing projects start to finishCeridian is fueled by the diversity of our talented employees.
