Certified Auto Repair Hiring for Automotive Technician Auto Mechanic Job at Spring Park, MN Full Time

We are looking for an Automotive Technician / Auto Mechanic, who is Looking for a BETTER WORKING ENVIRONMENT.

Our shop is surrounded by the shores of Lake Minnetonka in a great little community of customers who remain very interested in maintaining their vehicles

You will be responsible for repairing various vehicle systems and able to work independently of others, while also being able to work collaboratively at times with your peers.

Responsibilities:

• Inspect and diagnose our customer vehicles in a manner that protects their investment
• Write good Inspection findings that include photos and video of your findings with our state of the art Tekmetric system (very user friendly)
• Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs based upon your findings in a timely manner with quality in mind
• Use diagnostic tools to test vehicle components as needed
• Perform quality inspections prior to returning the vehicle to the customer to ensure full quality control

Qualifications:

• 2 years of previous experience as an auto mechanic or auto technician
• Knowledge of shop equipment including but not limited to Scan tools, alignment rack, and strut machine
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Willingness to work on or learn to work on high-end vehicles with our full line of OEM scan tools
• Deadline and detail-oriented in all aspects of your work
• Ability to work with remote support Technicians while they log in to your Scan Tool to assist in Programming and diagnostics of vehicle systems (Autologic Drive Pro)
• Some experience with BMW, Jaguar, Land Rover, Mercedes, Porsche, and Volvo would be a PLUS

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00 – $46.00 per hour
