Senior Human Resource Generalist

Job Summary:
The Senior Human Resources Generalist (SHRG) will provide front line HR support to HR functions. . The SHRG will assist the HR department in carrying out programs, processes, policies and procedures; including duties related to recruitment, retention, hiring, orientation, training, compensation and benefit administration, leave of absence administration, salary administration, employee recordkeeping, and compliance with state and federal employment laws. The incumbent will join the CHADS Administrative Team and act as the face of Human Resources for daily tactical and administrative employee life-cycle functions, will report to the Business Manager. and will communicate closely with the Administrative Team and others to ensure adherence to policies and consistency with past practices.
The SHRG will process employee records in accordance with employment regulations; participate in all aspects of the recruiting process; support the performance management process; assist in distributions and employee events; conduct new employee orientations. The SHRG will assist with preparation and maintenance of HR policies/procedures, employee handbook, annual benefit renewals and enrollments, and job descriptions.
The SHRG will be develop and communicate DEI plans, strategies and statements. Support and guide the DEI committee. Help leaders set DEI goals and measure results regarding DEI, retention, safety and belonging. Additionally, the SHRG will be involved with special projects for organization-wide HR programs.
Job Responsibilities:
Essential Background Requirements:
Education: Minimum of Associate Degree in Human Resource Management, Bachelor’s or PHR or business-related discipline (or equivalent) experience preferred.
Experience: Minimum of five years’ experience as a Human Resources professional required with at least two years in a dedicated HR generalist role preferred. Knowledge of general human resource programs, policies and procedures related to employee relations, recruitment, compensation, benefits, EEO/AAP administration, understanding of state and federal laws related to employment practice strongly desired. Intermediate to Advanced Word, Excel, and PowerPoint skill required. Knowledge of/experience with HRIS products is strongly preferred

The salary range is $55,000 -$75,000
