Director, Strategic Account, Payment Accuracy
What will I be responsible for in this job? (brief summary of the role)
The Director, Payment Accuracy is responsible creating and expanding client relationships within our strategic clients The primary focus of this position will be on relationship development, client retention, and growth. Director of Account Management will provide strategic oversight and engagement within our key clients. This position will ensure understanding of the client’s needs and can deploy tactics that will deliver and promote the most appropriate products or services within our Payment Accuracy suite of solutions.
This leader will work cross-departmentally ensuring collaboration and coordination with sales, operations, and product management to ensure alignment. It’s part of the Director’s job to develop overarching strategies based upon the business direction/needs to ensure the team is executing with the goal of the client and business in mind.
Additionally, this leader will be accountable for defining and owning strategic account planning and. This role will require knowledge of payor organizations and how Payment Accuracy solutions are valued and deployed. This knowledge will translate into oversight and engagement of regular joint strategic account planning and business reviews (Road maps, innovation, etc.) and tactical activities (governance, performance objectives, critical milestones) to ensure client needs and expectations are met. Resulting in customer retention, revenue growth, and relationship growth.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Driving expansion of assigned accounts based on the financials contained in the 3-year Long-Range Plan.
Working across various GM business lines and solutions.
Serving as the single point of contact responsible for specific internal and external oversight of payer market channel for Change Healthcare’s payer products and solutions with retention and growth of the product lines as the primary objectives.
Acting as the client’s advocate within CHC to ensure the client receives the appropriate amount of attention and added value. Develops long-term relationships with assigned clients, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders.
Building strong relationships with Sales leaders and reps, establishing coordination between Sales and Account Management on key activities and creating renewal support strategies.
Becoming an expert on the client’s business in the context of the overall health care industry.
Understanding how the client differentiates itself in markets and creates client value and how the CHC portfolio can support/maximize their differentiation.
Designing and deploying regular joint strategic account planning and business reviews (Road maps, innovation, etc.) and tactical activities (governance, performance objectives, critical milestones) to ensure client needs and expectations are met. Proactively and continually assesses, and validates short term needs and long-term client objectives
