About the role:
ChargeLab is looking for a Head of People as we scale our headcount from 30 to 60+ by the end of the year. You will work directly with the CEO to lead people operations at our Series A startup. This includes implementing company culture, cross-functional performance management, helping with recruiting, onboarding, and HR.
As we grow our people ops team, our in-house recruiters, performance coaches, and organizational psychologists would report to you.
What you’ll do:
Work with the CEO and executive team to define and promote company culture.
Oversee compensation levelling to ensure team members are fairly compensated across all teams and functions.
Help with OKR reporting and progression.
Manage day-to-day people ops, including recruiting, onboarding, and HR.
Lead employee satisfaction surveys and initiatives.
Manage company-wide services and tools, such as Slack, 1:1 meeting software, and OKR management software.
Organize company all-hands meetings, co-ordinating with Directors, VPs, and the CEO to gather content and assemble slides.
Qualifications:
5+ years of experience in people ops, recruiting, or HR.
Previously success in Head of People, Director of People Operations, or Director of Human Resources roles.
Venture-backed startup experience is an asset.
Proficiency with Google Workplace (Hangouts, Docs, Sheets, Slides), Slack, BambooHR, and other productivity tools.
Excellent interpersonal communication. Experience overcoming the challenges of a remote working environment is a plus.
