Job Summary:

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

Create shipping documents, update the ERP system accordingly, and generate appropriate shipping notices for internal and external customers.

Job Duties:

• Pull and verify orders for shipment based on Production Coordinator’s provided SOLC10 report and Ship Advice Worksheets.
• File finished SOLC10 reports in the Shipping filing cabinet. (Store end-of-year reports in the appropriate storage area.)
• Generate, gather, and consolidate shipping documentation, including:
• Bill of ladings in: BLDF1 F/M Bill of Lading
• Packing lists in: PKGF1 F/M Packing List
• Invoices requested from accounting.
• Quality certificates requested from Quality Assurance.
• Created material certs from M-Drive
• IAS data sheets requested from Quality Assurance.
• Shipper’s letter of instructions found in U-drive (U:Shipping ClerkSLI).
• Other miscellaneous documents as needed for shipments based on shipping specifications.
• Create and/or arrange packaging labels for boxes and master skid labels through production clerks or generated in SOLL31 Barcode Labels and PKGL50 Barcode Labels.
• Ship material resin/samples/inserts as requested by Engineering/Purchasing.
• Post daily shipping and provide a daily summary to the production control team.
• Send advanced shipping notices based on Customer routing instructions on the customer website or email a DTR report.
• Enter receiving documents into DTR in POXF1 Purchase Order daily, coordinate receiving Certificates as needed. Save electronic copies to material certs shared folder in M-Drive. (M: for quality records.)
• Coordinate shipment pickups based on customer routing instructions from LTL, TL Freights, messenger services, and parcel shipments.
• Load and unload trucks using forklift trucks and pallet jacks on an occasional basis.
• Enter inventory transfers as needed from Inventory Transfer Sheets. (in IIXU21 Inventory Transfer.)
• Guide finished and work-in-process parts to be stored in a designated area.
• Ability to express ideas clearly, orally and in writing.
• Other duties may be assigned.
