Chester Berg Toyota is a small, family-owned Toyota dealership in Bemidji, MN. We are hiring a full-time Parts Manager, with knowledge of either the automotive industry or management experience prefferred, to join our local, small dealership team. The Parts Manager position oversees the Parts Department and parts inventory and will need to be able to work well with others on cross-functional departments (Service and Body Shop). The ideal canidate for this position has a background in management, inventory management or the automotive industry.
- Create/update inventory of materials and equipment.
- Keep stock of parts and materials organized and accurate.
- Take wholesale requests to order parts and materials (e.g. in person, by phone or email).
- Sell parts over the counter to walk-in customer and manage the parts desk in assisting other departments with timely and accurate parts picking.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers of parts and materials.
- Create/update reports and tracking documents for dealership records.
- Process and understand all communication from Toyota Motor Sales regarding the Parts and Service Department.
- Lifting and moving parts througout the department on a daily basis.
- Shipping and receiving of parts on a daily basis.
- Overseeing other Parts Dept positions, ensuring accurate time keeping and staffing availability.
- Maintaining cleanliness of department area.
- All other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,000.00 – $60,000.00 per year
