Chiaravalle Montessori is looking for a dynamic, motivated, Montessori-trained Associate Teacher to join our superb Elementary team for the 2023-2024 school year. This person will work collaboratively with the Upper Elementary team to implement the Chiaravalle curriculum consistent with the Montessori Method and principles. The Associate Teacher position is a full-time, fully benefited position scheduled onsite Monday – Friday from 8am – 4pm.
THE POSITION
The Associate Teacher Elementary will utilize best practices in the classroom based on current research in child development and education which are appropriate to the learning objectives for upper elementary (grades 4th-6th). The person in this position will work to provide individualized and differentiated learning plans in order to meet the cognitive, social, emotional and spiritual growth of each child. You will support students by implementing strategies and accommodations geared towards the individual child. The Associate Teacher provides students with timely, clear and constructive feedback. You will be responsible for working and communicating with other teachers, Learning Resources, Administrators and parents in an effort to provide the best learning environment and support for each student’s individual progress.
