EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY: Medical Physicist

Full Time

Be part of a team of experienced and practical professionals. This position will allow for training and exposure to multiple clinics located in the South Chicagoland and Northwest Indiana Region; most centers have Varian Accelerators, Truebeam and Trilogy, and Varian Aria/Eclipse Software. Some travel between clinics will be required. All centers operate on a Citrix Environment allowing for remote connectivity across all sites. Active HDR and SRS/SBRT programs.

QUALIFICATIONS:

The Medical Physicist is a recent graduate of a medical physics educational program (Masters, DMP, or PhD)

Clinical Physics and Dosimetry:

• 3D, IMRT, and VMAT Plan 2nd Checks and Review
• Secondary Calculation Checks
• IMRT/VMAT Quality Assurance / Special Physics Consultations
• SBRT/SRS/SRT Treatment Planning and Quality Assurance
• Weekly Clinical Physics Chart Checks and Chart Rounds
• Special Procedure Assistance, HDR, LDR, Y90, 4DCT, DIBH
• Linear Accelerator Quality Assurance: Daily, Monthly, and Annual
• Imaging Quality Assurance: OBI, CBCT, MV Imaging, and CT
• General Treatment Planning Assistance, Contouring, Image Fusion
• Policies and Procedures Documentation Review
• Radiation Safety Committee Participation
• Physics Program Forms and Documentation
• Possible Radiation Safety Officer Designee Training
