Job Summary

We are a fast growing in-home care company based out of Watkinsville, Ga. providing lifestyle assistance services to seniors, disabled and rehabilitating clients. Our agency serves 14 counties in the Northeast, Ga. area and we have an immediate opening for a full time scheduler/admin assistant.

Responsibilities and Duties

The Job Duties will include:

Understanding care staff availability, client shift requests and filling open shifts.

Responsible for general office duties including answering the phone and assisting the marketing director and Hr director as needed.

Responsible for client and care staff files

Assist with team training and events

Qualifications and Skills

This is a very important position on our team and takes a certain personality type to be successful you MUST be a go-getter who can work independently without supervision and have attention to details.You must be able to problem solve and think through complex scenarios. You cannot be afraid to hear ‘no” and you have to be able to have difficult conversations at times. You must be able to work well under pressure.

This position requires professional phone etiquette and a compassionate voice.

Previous office experience is required.

Previous home care or senior care experience is preferred.

The ideal candidate will also have excellent written and verbal communication skills, superior computer skills including Word and Excel, and the ability to function well under pressure.

This position may require being on call after hours at times.

Other requirements for this position: – Must have experience in the medical field of some kind or have knowledge of medical terminology.- Must be able to work independently and unsupervised.- Customer Service, Sales and/or Management experience.- Compassionate personality with strong desire to help others.

An outgoing personality with a positive attitude is a requirement. Must be a team player and work well with others.

Candidate MUST have the ability to work unsupervised and have total accountability for producing results.

Candidate must be dependable and drug free.

Experience desired, but not required for this position: – Senior Care, Private Duty, Home Health, Hospice, Assisted Living, or Rehab experience.- CNA license or experience managing CNA’s is helpful.- Human Resources experience.
