The Forms Designer/Developer is responsible for providing forms analysis, design and development, documentation and technical support using Adobe LiveCycle Designer. Work will focus heavily on Healthcare forms, including generic and state specific enrollment forms for Cigna Medical, Dental, Consolidated Group and Individual businesses, and Provider and Network Operations.
“Must be a current contractor with Cigna, Express Scripts, or Evernorth. Evernorth is a new business within the Cigna Corporation. This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.”
Responsibilities
Design, develop, update, test, and implement forms to meet the requirements of the business customer
Create print ready and fillable forms using Adobe LiveCycle Designer and Adobe Acrobat Pro
Work with the business customers to review requirements and translate them into technical specs; confirm scope and objectives of new forms or revisions
Ensure code and forms are secure and compliant with all client regulations and policies, and adhere to Cigna Legal and Corporate Branding standards
Document, implement, and provide support for the applications as required; adhere to catalog library standards
Ensure that deliverables are on time and within budget and are of the highest quality, meeting all team standards
Ensure that AFDDS team standards and procedures are followed for request intake, logging and tracking of work
Upgrade Adobe client software as directed by Cigna; prepare test plans and engage in testing and validation of new versions with existing form applications
Required technical skills:
Strong application development experience with Adobe LiveCycle Designer, Adobe Acrobat Pro (ver 5.0 – 11), focusing on forms design
Forms Designer or Print Designer background
MS Office (including MS Access) proficiency
Troubleshooting and resolving problems with production applications
Five or more years of related experience
Desirable Technical Skills:
Adobe InDesign experience
Adobe Photoshop experience
Creating dynamic XML templates to be rendered as PDF
Knowledge of JavaScript
Required Soft Skills:
Demonstrated ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
Using quality checklists, or similar procedures to assure product quality and construction efficiency during documentation development
Proven ability to deliver results
Ability to work with third party consultants and vendors
Ability to work in a team based environment required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Knowledge of Cigna Medical and Dental products a strong plus
Desirable Skills/Experience:
Experience with Enrollment forms and working with legal and compliance areas to support required state filings of forms
Experience with Cigna Easton ODS print processes and third party print vendors
Experience with design for multiple distribution types (print, web, third party site)
If you will be working at home occasionally or permanently, the internet connection must be obtained through a cable broadband or fiber optic internet service provider with speeds of at least 10Mbps download/5Mbps upload.
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of 70,100 – 116,900 USD / yearly, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
