CircusTrix Hiring for Staff Accountant Job at Provo, UT Full Time

We are looking for a full time Staff Accountant to join our team working out of our corporate office in Provo, UT. Our booming network of extreme trampoline parks (CircusTrix, DEFY, Sky Zone, Rockin’ Jump, Planet3) serves up adrenaline-filled, shareable experiences that challenge action seekers with the massive thrills of aerial sports. We are the biggest developer and operator of extreme recreation parks in the world!

The Staff Accountant at CircusTrix is a key player in the accounting department and is responsible for several crucial month-end tasks as well as the ongoing reconciliation of the Company’s depository account and cash deposits. This position reports to the Assistant Controller and is a full-time position located out of our Provo, UT office.

Responsibilities

• Monthly point-of-sale reports (Roller) uploaded in the financial system (NetSuite)
• Month-end journal entries, as assigned
• Weekly reconciliation of park cash deposits into the Company’s deposit account
• Assisting parks with cash deposit questions and educating them on Company cash processes
• Reconciliation of Company bank accounts, as assigned
• Reconciliation of monthly credit card transactions into the Company’s deposit account
• Other month-end reconciliations, as assigned

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Excel) required
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or other related field required
• High attention to detail required
• Excellent communication skills – this position requires heavy interaction with park General Managers
• Ability to own a process with minimal direction on a day-to-day basis
• Deadline driven

Preferred Skills

• 1-3 years of previous accounting experience preferred
• NetSuite experience a plus
• Previous experience with a Company point-of-sale system preferred
• Experience reconciling bank accounts and cash/credit card deposits
