Responsibilities:
Partner with the Warehouse Operation leadership to provide HR consultation and the delivery of HR programs and services; communicate any changes in policies and help develop new standards.
Conduct all necessary trainings- yearly anti-harassment training, trainings on any new HR processes.
Review timecards once managers have signed off to ensure no errors and then send to payroll. Communicate, train and coach managers on any opportunities with payroll submission.
Assist with Performance Reviews. Coordinate timeline, assist Warehouse Management and ensure employees receive semi-annual and annual reviews with fair and consistent feedback.
Assist with the recruiting process. Partner with Recruiters and Warehouse Management to use standard and innovative methods, help develop new recruitment strategies and participate in Open House recruiting events.
Coordinate schedules, sit in on interviews and be a contact for management when Recruiters are not available.
Conduct mandatory pre-employment process consistently for all new hires and manage the onboarding process.
Conduct exit interviews for all voluntary terminated employees. Provide analysis report to discuss trends and areas of improvement.
Administer and monitor new hire orientation program.
Assist with benefits administration/workers compensation, FMLA, PFL, Disability and Personal leave request.
Maintain employee files and make sure all information is kept up to date and confidential.
In addition, other duties maybe required as directed by your manager.
Minimum requirements:
Must be fluent in Spanish.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
Demonstrated knowledge of employment laws
Computer proficiency including knowledge of spreadsheets
Experience with applicant tracking systems
Excellent interpersonal skills to deal with all levels of management
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or prior Human Resources experience
Ability to work a flexible schedule including holidays.
Ability to stand for long periods of time and walk up and down stairs and throughout the facility every day.
Ability to travel to our stores and warehouse location.
