As a CSI Brokerage Operations New Accounts Team Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day activities of the Citizens Securities New Accounts Team. You will monitor, create, and implement, operational policies, which support the team, as well as ensuring that staff follow these and other business policies. You will motivate, incent, and reward desired behaviors by providing associate feedback and utilizing available reward and recognition programs.

Key responsibilities

• Coaching and development of associates.
• Monitoring to ensure service levels are met.
• Embed and embrace continuous improvement within the team
• Develop procedures and training plans as new products and services are deployed.
• Participate in system testing when necessary.
• Monitor daily workflows and make necessary adjustments to staffing.
• Provide exceptional customer service to clients and advisors
• Work directly with other CSI operations managers and leaders in support of decision making regarding all operational improvements or required procedure changes.

Qualifications

• FINRA Series 24 and Series 7 required
• Bachelors Degree highly preferred
• 7+ years of brokerage operations experience preferred and 3+ years in direct management of employees
• This is a hybrid position within CSI guidelines and the initial 90 days will be full-time in the Johnston, Rhode Island office or until you successfully reach independent work capability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with team, peers, vendors, and Operations leadership.
• Ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks dependent on risk and customer experience.
• Ability to provide and receive open and honest feedback.
• Delivers coaching for colleagues as part of the onboarding and continuous improvement process.
• Prior experience in broker dealer operations preferred
