Citizens Financial Group, Inc. (CFG) seeks a Network Engineer for its Johnston, RI location.
Duties: Responsible for development, implementation, and analysis of data communications networks. Uses knowledge of LAN/WAN to design and install internal and external data networks. Assists with the completion of large-scale network services engineering projects with the ability to execute technical projects securely, accurately and on-time. Assist in operations by isolating, analyzing, and resolving network issues, maintaining SLA’s, and providing resiliency and scalability to support the growth of the business. Build dashboards and monitoring tools. Assist in IPAM and provide critical technical and management skills required to develop and maintain a secure and available IT network Infrastructure in a fast-paced and complex IT environment. Participate in an on-call rotation and act as escalation source for team members in need of assistance.
Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field followed by five (5) years of progressive experience in the role or in a similar position. Full term of experience must include: Troubleshooting tier 2 and 3 voice network events related to break-fix incidents; Providing 24×7 on-call voice network operational support; Implementing new voice network connectivity solutions and applying configuration updates as necessary; Acting as the primary contact for Cisco Unified Collaboration as a Service (UCaaS); Developing new voice network designs and providing recommendations in concert with voice network architects; Serving as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for network technologies that include switching (including HSRP, VRRP, STP, LACP, VPC, mLAG, VTP), routing (both static and dynamic), and routing protocols (including BGP, OSPF, RIP); Developing software, tools, and web services related to telephony networks using C, C++, T-SQL, SQL, XML, HTML, CSS, XHTML, DHTML, REST, UDDI, WSDL, ASP.NET, WCF, MVC, WPF, VXML, GRXML, Windows Forms, Crystal Reports, and Oracle SQL Developer; Telecom monitoring, management, and automation using Avaya Dialog Designer, UCaaS, Cisco IP Telephony Solution, VOIP Interaction Routing Designer (IRD), Genesys Administrator, CME, URS, Genesys Voice Portal, State Server, T-Server, I-Server, Infomart, Site Adminisrtation, SIP, CRM, WFM, Nice, and Verint; Accessing and managing data from databases, including SQL Server (2010, 2008, and 2005), MS Access, MySQL, Oracle 11g/10g, DB2, and Oracle SQL Developer; Business modeling using Visio; and Managing SD-WAN devices, including Velocloud Edges on Vmware SD-WAN Network Orchestrator –VCO.
