The current vacancy is within the Operations Support Branch of the Information Technology Division of the Honolulu Board of Water Supply (BWS) and plans, supervises and manages the operation of the IT Field Services Support Section. The position is responsible for planning, designing, and overseeing the installation, upgrade, maintenance and support of the BWS island-wide wireless (radio) data communication systems, security camera systems, IT electrical and cabling.

Minimum Qualification RequirementsEDUCATION REQUIREMENT:Equivalent to graduation from an accredited four year college or university with a bachelor’s degree in an engineering specialty or a related field. Work experience may be substituted for the bachelor’s degree on a year-for-year basis. Such experience must have provided the knowledge, skills, and analytical ability normally gained from attainment of a bachelor’s degree.
