The Contract Compliance Administrator prepares, drafts, monitors, and administers contract documents or reports, contract payments, and other contract details to ensure contractual obligations are met.
Dallas Water-Forestry: This position prepares, drafts, monitors, and administers contract, agreements, grants, MOU documents or reports, payments, and other details to ensure all obligations are met.
Essential Functions
1 Provides advanced administrative support for large scale purchasing and procurement activities for various departments; oversees all p-card activities and tracks, reviews, and monitors all price agreements, requisitions, purchases, and contractual obligations; reviews submitted documentation to ensure payment requests are processed in accordance with established procedures and regulations.
2 Develops and maintains a data base for contract information to provide a tracking system for contract activity; oversees provider and consultant contracts ensuring compliance with contractual terns and other regulations; oversees change orders, supplemental agreements, subcontractor changes, and other contractual processes.
3 Researches and generates information on prior programs and contracts to assist management, other departments or outside agencies.
4 Monitors and maintains internal and fixed assets; performs maintenance functions, inventory, and various audits.
5 Prepares and maintains reports on contract and financial activities to ensure that management has contract information.
6 Prepares bank wire transfers to expedite processing of loans and repayment to contractors.
7 Assists, supports, and provides direction in the interpretation of various contracts and contractual language for initiatives, directives, and City assets.
8 Performs any and all other work as needed or assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
EDUCATION:
High school diploma or GED.
EXPERIENCE:
Four (4) years of experience administering, evaluating or auditing grants and/or contracts; or government contract payment monitoring/processing.
EQUIVALENCY:
A bachelor’s degree or higher in business, public administration, or a social science field will meet the education and experience requirement.
LICENSE:
Valid driver’s license with good driving record.

1 Knowledge of City contract policies, procedures and requirements.
2 Knowledge of Community Development Block Grants (CDBG) regulations.
3 Knowledge of City insurance requirements for facility usage.
4 Ability to use spreadsheet and database software to generate reports.
5 Communicating effectively verbally and in writing
6 Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships
The salary listed on the job posting is the starting salary range; amount offered will depend upon qualifications.
For evaluation purposes, acceptable qualifying experience for all positions must have been in a paid capacity unless noted otherwise in the minimum qualifications for the posted position.
Additionally, 30+ hours per week will be counted as full-time employment and will receive full credit for the amount of time employed. A minimum of 15 through 29 work hours per week will be counted as part-time employment and will receive half credit for the amount of time employed.
