The City of Fort Bragg Invites Applications
for
PART-TIME LABORER-PUBLIC WORKS
This is a part-time, year around position with no benefits other than sick leave.
It is not part of employee group.
Performs a variety of semi-skilled tasks in the construction, repair, installation and maintenance of City public works facilities, buildings and grounds and streets.
TYPICAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Removes and replaces road material such as asphalt.
- Excavates and exposes sewer lines and mains.
- Paints crosswalks, curbs, stop and center lines.
- Cleans storm drain basins.
- Cleans and maintains equipment used in the course of work.
- Performs landscape and street maintenance tasks such as pulling and cutting weeds, mowing, trimming and watering plants.
- Must be available and willing to work weekends.
