Community Center/Facility attendant:

The Star Center Community building is a City of Stamford Investment that sees many families from different backgrounds walk through its doors. Being an attendant is more than friendly greetings and keeping the center organized while on duty. It is about setting the tone for everyone who enters our doors, giving us our first opportunity to our impress guests and providing them with the kind of “WOW” factor they’ve been looking forward to. You’ll be actively assisting our guests, monitoring guest flow in and out of the center, following up on guest inquiries in a timely and courteous manner, and making sure the instructors at the Center have everything they need to start and run class.

• Must be professional and presentable at all times
• Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying concerns raised by employees and guests.
• Approach all encounters with guests and employees in an attentive, friendly, courteous and service-oriented manner.
• Being Bi-lingual is a plus.

The hours are generally in the morning from 8:00am till around 12PM or 1PM depending on the day.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $16.00 – $20.00 per hour
