EXPECTED STARTING BI-WEEKLY SALARY: $1,654 – $1,985 GRADE: 8 Non-exempt

GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF WORK: This position provides confidential high-level administrative and technical work in support of the City
Manager and members of the City Council. The duties of this position differ from other administrative positions by the preponderance of work
that requires considerable knowledge of City’s services, other governmental services not related to city functions and the frequent exposure to
confidential information including fiscal, political and personnel matters having City-wide impact.
Administrative duties 70%

QUALIFICATIONS: Applicant must have a high school diploma or equivalent; and five (5) years’ experience in administrative and clerical
procedures, advanced skills working with Microsoft Word and Excel. The successful applicant will be energetic, self-directed, and have a strong
sense of teamwork and personal responsibility. Must perform assigned duties and responsibilities with accuracy and speed under the pressure
of deadlines. Due to the nature of the work, attention to detail, analytical ability, both verbal and written communication skills, and a good
working knowledge of grammar, spelling and punctuation are necessary. Must be able to maintain composure during frequent interruptions
while working independently.
