Director of Sales and Marketing – Weinberg Campus

Weinberg Community, a member of the CJE SeniorLife family, has been recognized for 25 years as a premier destination for assisted living and memory care. We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as the newly created Director of Sales and Marketing.

This role is responsible for leading the Weinberg Community sales and marketing efforts to achieve sales and occupancy goals, as defined in the Marketing Plan and Financial Proforma. He/she is expected to embrace and convey the mission, vision and values of our organization to the Jewish and larger community. This individual must maintain a positive image of the community with referral sources, residents, and staff personnel. He/she reports to the Executive Director and supervises the sales and marketing team at the community.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Meets all expectations of occupancy and budget, per established proforma, with ongoing reviews by Executive Director and CJE’s Chief Financial Officer. Quantitative sales/occupancy goals to be developed and measured appropriately in collaboration with Executive Director.
• Keeps Executive Director informed of all sales activity daily, following the Executive Director’s preferred protocol and methodology
• Responsible for follow-up with all inquiries (walk-in, phone, direct mail) in a timely and appropriate manner.
• Schedules, organizes, and conduct tours with prospective residents of Weinberg Community.
• Assists in creating and utilizing sales incentive toolbox as needed.
• Builds and cultivates an active wait list.
• Manages and maintains “Hot Board/Move-in Move-out Board” to achieve maximum revenue goals.
• Takes lead role in initiating and implementing Weinberg Community’s media and marketing plan to uphold and further CJE’s mission, values, and vision. Strategies to include traditional, digital and social media marketing tactics.
• Works closely with Weinberg’s Executive Director, CJE’s Vice President of Marketing and Sales, with the development and implementation of the quarterly marketing plan.
• Creates, plans, and implements with sales and marketing team and other program managers (at Weinberg as well as throughout CJE’s continuum of care) prospect and/or referral source activities and events.
• Oversees a results-oriented community outreach program, in coordination with Weinberg and CJE’s sales and marketing team to achieve maximum impact.
• Understands, utilizes, and maintains integrity of marketing/sales/list management system. Trains and monitors sales/marketing staff as needed on Enquire (CRM).
• Responsible for completing and submitting monthly metric reports to the CJE SeniorLife leadership team.

• Responsible for managing the competitive analysis.
• Participates in Manager on Duty Program.
• Develops and maintains a professional and good working relationship with direct reports, fellow employees, residents, families, referral sources and care providers.
• In consultation with Executive Director: Hires, trains, disciplines and terminates departmental employees in accordance with company policy.
• Takes lead with Executive Director in training Weinberg staff on how to deliver 5-star hospitality service, ensuring messaging is consistent throughout the community.
• Monitors, along with Executive Director, complaints and concerns and triages for positive resolutions.
• Maintains confidentiality of all pertinent information (i.e., HIPAA-related, financial documentation, etc.)
• Complies with all company policies, city, state, and federal regulations pertaining to Residents’ accounts as it relates to third party billing, etc.
• Interacts professionally and effectively with all levels of the organization, residents, family members, etc.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and/or Experience

• Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university required, with sales and marketing experience preferred.
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in senior living or health care, related to the position’s detailed duties and responsibilities.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, including written, verbal, and telephone marketing.
• Proficient with a Marketing/Sales Information System (CRM).
• Proficiency in general office systems, including Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently, be self-motivated and demonstrate good judgment in challenging situations.
• Ability to be flexible and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Knowledge of 5-star customer service standards and procedures.
• Ability to travel locally.
• Previous supervisory experience.
