We’re looking for a Shipping and Receiving Operator to perform all material handling, shipping, and receiving functions within the facility. This role involves operating forklift equipment (both stand up and sit down) and performing basic data entry transactions within SAP.
The pay rate is $19/hr and this is for 2nd Shift. This is a temporary role to start.
Essential Job Functions:
- Pull and pick customer orders using scanner technology
- Operate both stand up and sit down forklift equipment
- Unload incoming shipments and load outbound shipments and transfers
- Collaborate with other internal departments to achieve operational goals
- Ensure products are properly labeled and all shipments are secured for transit
- Accurately complete and submit all required paperwork to the office
- Adhere to company health and safety procedures and policies to maintain a safe work environment
- Maintain work area and warehouse cleanliness in accordance with 5S standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by lead, supervisor, or other members of management
Requirements
- Proficient in operating both stand up and sit down forklifts
- Competent in using scanners for picking orders
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs
- 1-2 years warehouse experience
- Computer proficiency
