Classic Recreations Automotive Assembly Technician

{Job Location – Flower Mound, Texas}

We are looking for skilled craftsman who love Restoring classic cars, building restomod muscle cars, race cars, or custom bikes. We want someone that pay close attention to detail, careful handling tools around painted and plated parts, problem solver, team player, and is a serious multi-tasker!

Primary Responsibilities

• Assembling finished painted body cars with electrical wiring, electrical components, glass, weather-stripping, steering, brakes, crate engine, crate transmission, front and rear suspension, moldings, interior components and insulation.
• Will work with other assembly technicians to move the car along in a three-stage assembly process.

Position Requirements

• Must have and be responsible for own tools.
• Requires 5 years’ mechanic experience
• Experience in restoring cars or other automotive equipment assembly is needed (references needed) is required.
• Transportation to and from work with a valid driver’s license is required.
• ASE certifications are preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance.
• Ability to climb ladders, work at ceiling heights, work in tight spaces.
• Ability to sit/stand/walk for prolonged periods of time.
• Ability to repetitively push/pull/lift/carry objects.
• Ability to travel locally and out of state when necessary with a valid driver’s license.
• Ability to successfully complete a background check subject to applicable law.

Skilled Craftsman only, this is not a training position, and this is not collision repair

Pay Rate

Competitive hourly rate based on experience. Benefits are available as well with employment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 – $35.00 per hour

• 8 hour shift
