Cleveland Clinic’s Emergency Services Institute has attained the 90th percentile of all Emergency Departments in the United States. The Emergency Services Institute cares for over 500,000 adult and pediatric patients annually across 16 Emergency Departments including Medina Hospital .
As a Registered Nurse (RN) in the Emergency Department, you will:
Provide direct nursing care in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols.
Monitor and document patient’s condition effectively and timeliness of care and/or interventions.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments in accordance wit h approved nursing protocol.
Assess and coordinate patient’s discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Maintain professional growth and development through ongoing formal and informal education and clinical nursing study.
The ideal future caregiver is someone who:
Has one year of RN experience in the Emergency Department (ED) or the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
Works well in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Is compassionate, adaptable, and works well in a close-knit team environment.
Is motivated to learn.
