The Logistic & database coordinator supports the logistics efforts by following and monitoring shipping deliveries and database up-dates of material enroute to resorts.
Ø Manage and follow-up orders for several resorts in the North America area (especially resorts in Mexico), including:
• Placing orders with suppliers.
• Following-up orders with freight forwarders and carriers.
• Weekly meeting with internal clients to face issue and ensure orders are received accurate on time.
Ø Manage relationships with customs by:
• Preparing all documents needed for import/export.
• Ensure countries’ regulations are respected.
Ø Follow-up the on-time payment of suppliers with the Accounting department.
Ø Work with other departments team members to monitor the performance of supplier’s and accuracy of deliveries. Centralizes and escalates information to better steer suppliers, brokers, and logistic partners within the Purchasing Department.
Ø Update the Club Med applications systems daily (Ecomat, Web Nafi, supplier incident database, etc.), including prices database.
Ø Managing relationships with the freight forwarder in Miami.
Ø Project leader on cross-functional topics related to Supply Chain.
PROFILE
Ø You have a successful experience in Logistics (including import/export management) for a minimum of 2 to 3 years. Import-export management experience with Mexico is a plus.
Ø You are a good team player and are able to cooperate with people of different profiles and bring people together.
Ø You have a strong sense of organization and rigor.
Ø A solution-oriented mindset and an ability to handle complex situations.
Ø Good communication skills
Ø You have a very good level of English and Spanish
Ø You are proficient in current office tools (Office pack, Teams, etc.).
