POSITION SUMMARY

CLUES’ Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC), Abriendo Caminos, will be providing immediate access to supportive, high-quality, culturally-responsive and integrated Behavioral Health services and pathways to wellness for the Latinx Community, regardless of insurance status or ability to pay. The CCBHC model provides CLUES with a model for sustainable Behavioral Health service provision, which translates to increased access to consistent care for wellness in the Latinx community. 

CLUES’ Quality Assurance Specialist is responsible for designing, in collaboration with Behavioral Health leadership, and implementing policies and practices to ensure that all agency programs are in compliance with federal, state and local regulatory requirements. This individual is responsible to collaborate with Behavioral Health leadership to develop and implement continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities, and to prepare data and compliance reports to present to management. This individual supports the collection of data and the reporting of data on CCBHC activities to help guide future service implementation.

Schedule: Full-Time. Generally, Monday – Friday Office hours. 
Estimated Pay: $23.00 to $25.00 (depending on experience & qualifications).

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Project management to facilitate progress on grant deliverables. 
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulatory requirements around documentation of services and quality assurance activities.
• Monitor clinical documentation for compliance and communicate with Behavioral Health leadership at regular intervals to help staff improve compliance in documentation.
• Lead efforts to implement peer review of clinical documentation as stipulated by State licensing entities.
• Leads provider credentialing efforts by tracking training requirements and schedules, and maintains provider credentialing with insurance companies.
• Support collection and analysis of client satisfaction data and report to Behavioral Health leadership.
• Work closely with our EHR Administrator and Behavioral Health leadership to ensure timely collection and reporting of data for specific grant projects, including grants from SAMHSA and MN DHS.
• Leads the processes, in collaboration with Behavioral Health leadership, to obtain and maintain clinical certifications and licenses, including CCBHC certification. 
• Participate in a Continuous Quality Improvement committee and support by collecting and reporting data out of the Electronic Health Record and other data sources to help the Behavioral Health department improve services to the community.
• Support positively the mission, operating values, and services of CLUES within the community.  
• Maintain client confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA, agency policies and other applicable laws, regulations and ethical standards.
• Carry out all other duties as assigned by supervisor.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Education, Experience & Key Abilities 

• Associate degree in human services, data analysis, public health or related field required. Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred.
• At least 1-2 years of data collection and analysis required. Nonprofit data collection and analysis experience preferred. Experience preparing data reports preferred. Familiarity with EHR systems such as Credible a plus. 
• Strong attention to detail and ability to ensure that outgoing information is thorough and accurate.
• Must possess strong interpersonal skills, speaking and writing skills, and the ability to interact in a positive manner with others. Must collaborate effectively with co-workers and key stakeholders as a “team player”.

Language Skills 

• Effective communication in English, both verbally and in writing, required. Fluency in Spanish preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written materials, including reports, contracts, and proposals.  
• Ability to effectively present ideas and information in an organized and effective manner, including writing reports. 
• Ability to maintain accurate documentation and respond appropriately to questions from clients, co-workers, management and external parties.  

Computer Skills 

• Proficient working knowledge of email software, the Internet, databases, and common Windows-based programs, including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.  
• Must be willing to attend training to advance technical skills and maintain appropriate skill levels to perform job duties.
