WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A FRONT WAITER/SERVER

Problem solvers that can handle customer matters with courtesy, dignity and respect
Great verbal and written communication skills
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AS A FRONT WAITER/SERVER
Greets new parties and cordially “welcomes” guest to the restaurant
Informs the guest of delicious menu choices and makes suggestions
Relay orders to bar and kitchen using point-of-system (POS)
Anticipates the guest needs and responds appropriately
Establishes a friendly professional rapport with the guest
Busses table when meal is completed and prepares the table for the next course
Totals and presents bill, accepts payment, cashes out the check and makes change
Problem solves guest needs with courtesy, dignity and respect
Extends closing greetings to guest as they leave thanking them for their patronage
