Overview
Collage Group is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to join our innovative and growing team in our mission to help organizations unleash the power of culture to drive brand growth at a time when America is undergoing a seismic cultural transformation. The HR Generalist will implement HR programs and processes and coordinate HR compliance and administration. We’re seeking an individual contributor who will liaise with senior leadership and managers, be viewed as a resource to employees, and who will roll up their sleeves to support day-to-day HR administration. The HR Generalist will work to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the Collage Group’s goals and objectives. What you will do
HR Programs: Implement HR programs including the performance management program, employee engagement survey, compensation survey, policy development and training and development; Develop new programs as needed, such as a mentorship program.
Culture Development: Serve as a culture champion for the company, developing new engagement strategies and events to enhance team members’ connection to the company. Work closely with management and employees to build morale and increase productivity and retention.
HR Process Development: Continuously look for efficiencies in current processes and develop new processes as necessary. Review policies, processes, and practices to ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
Training & Development: Develop and execute upon training and development activities, participating in the identification of training needs and vendor selection/management.
Employee Relations: Serve as a resource to employees and managers, answering employee inquiries while being viewed as approachable and welcoming. Problem-solve employee relations issues that arise, in partnership with external HR and legal counsel.
HR Compliance, Benefits & Administration: Coordinate administrative processes such as onboarding, offboarding, FMLA and leave processes, maintain the HRIS, coordinate with vendors, enter benefit deductions, facilitate the open enrollment process. Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations and recommend best practices.
What you have done
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or related discipline or equivalent combination or education and experience
5+ years of progressive experience in an HR Generalist/HRBP position with a working knowledge of multiple HR disciplines including employee relations, performance management, and federal and state employment laws
SHRM-CP or PHR certifications desirable
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Suite, including Outlook, Word, and Excel; Demonstrated ability to establish competency with new technologies and applications
Ability to build trusting relationships, being seen as reliable, approachable, and helpful to employees and management
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail
Ability to share insights with leadership about the HR function
Ability to exercise sound, independent judgement with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Ambitious team player with who is excited to roll-up your sleeves and chip-in to support the company’s overall success
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills as you interact with all levels of the company
Excellent time management skills with the ability to work at a fast pace under tight deadlines
