Dispatcher Job Summary
We are currently seeking a reliable Dispatcher who will serve as the first point of contact and communication with our drivers. You will be responsible for receiving requests, transmitting messages, and tracking vehicles during their routes. The information you share must be clear and easily understood to ensure drivers know where they are going and what to expect when they arrive. The ability to multi-task is essential, and you must be able to take appropriate action with little supervision. IDEAL CANDIDATE will have household goods moving experience or related background.
Dispatcher Duties and Responsibilities
- Receive and record information for all calls
- Address problems and make requests by communicating with the necessary parties or providing solutions
- Receive calls about deliveries and dispatch orders for products
- Multitask and prioritize calls according to their urgency
- Monitor delivery progress and assure timely assistance
- Providing drivers with vital information about orders, traffic, obstacles, and requirements
- You must have experience working with drivers that are on the road on routes – Moving Industry experience ++++
