About us
We are a local faith based Boulder family looking for help with Home Education for 2 of our kids ages 9, 7 .
We are looking for a caring and responsible tutor to help children learn language arts, science, history, reading, and math using the Classical Conversations curriculum. You will be working with us in education to help students build up their skills with reading, writing, and arithmetic. Our ideal candidate will demonstrate excellent communication, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills. As a tutor, you should be patient and inspire learning through teaching. You will be in charge of supervising studies in our home in Boulder where curriculums are designed based on the individual needs of the students.
Responsibilities:
- Attend CC with children on Mondays from 9-12
- Teach/tutor in our Boulder home Tues-Thurs.
- Provide a friendly environment, socialize with students and make them feel at ease during tutoring sessions.
- Provide tips and advice useful for future study and career endeavors.
Schedule | 3-4 days per week in person or via Zoom if family is traveling. Approximately 15-20hrs per week.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 – $45.00 per hour
