About This Job
The Talent Acquisition Support Specialist position provides support to multiple Talent Acquisition Specialists at Commerce Bank. This key Talent Acquisition team member is primarily responsible for partnering with the Talent Acquisition Specialists to provide the highest level of administrative support and service throughout the recruiting process to ensure a best in class candidate and customer experience with a specific emphasis on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. Th is position is an excellent opportunity for an individual interested in Talent Acquisition or HR as a career.
Essential Functions
Partner with Talent Acquisition Specialists to provide administrative support throughout the recruiting process
Provide front desk coverage in the Talent Acquisition Candidate Lounge 2 days a week
Support recruitment strategies to attract and retain talented team members, specifically as related to Blue Chip priorities, and with a focus on Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
Receive and enter employment requisitions for multiple lines of business
Coordinate all interview logistics (Talent Acquisition Specialist, candidate and interviewer schedules, candidate travel logistics, documentation creation and distribution, etc.)
Conduct, monitor and follow-up on pre-employment activities (Background checks, assessments, etc.)
Assist Talent Acquisition Specialists with the offer, hire and onboarding processes
Coordinate registration and logistics along with attend career fairs, as needed
Proactively communicate, with Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers, about talent acquisition activities and duties to meet service level agreements
Maintain the utmost confidentiality for all candidate and HR information at all times
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
Previous experience in human resources and/or recruiting support is highly preferred
Experience with and/or knowledge of legal aspects of the recruiting and hiring process highly preferred
Experience with HR or Applicant Tracking system(s) is highly preferred
Ability to respect, protect and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information
Sound judgment and creative problem-solving skills
Effective as an individual contributor and team member, as needed
Motivated and organized self-starter with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
Inquisitive, agile and strong team player with excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to remain adaptable and resilient to all situations with an optimistic outlook and cast a positive shadow that is aligned with our culture and Core Values.
Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
Previous experience in human resources and/or recruiting support is highly preferred

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business or related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
1-3 years’ of successfully managing multiple priorities in demanding customer service environment
Previous experience in human resources and/or recruiting support is highly preferred
