DESCRIPTION OF WORK
This position’s focus is to assist persons with disabilities obtain employment by developing and maintaining employer contacts, researching employment trends and employment barriers, and conducting business outreach.
This position also participates in community employment events, facilitates trainings and conducts presentations, and provides technical assistance.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
Full-time employment.
Work hours are 8:00am to 4:00pm, Monday – Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
Telework: You will have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Reading.
Telework/onsite schedule subject to operational need.
You will be required to travel.
Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY
Qualifications:Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree that includes 24 credits in the behavioral sciences; OR
An equivalent combination of experience and training that includes 24 credits in the behavioral sciences.
Other Requirements:
You must pass the test to meet the Minimum Experience and Training Requirements.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Legal Requirements:
This position falls under the provisions of the Child Protective Services Law.
Under the Law, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including, but not limited to, PA State Police, Child Abuse history clearance, and FBI clearance.
