Community Care Hiring For Registered Nurse/RN – Employee Health at Milwaukee, WI  Full Time

Community Care is hiring a Registered Nurse/RN to enhance and coordinate our Employee Health Program. This is a great opportunity for a nurse with employee/occupational health experience who enjoys team collaboration, being involved in both employee health and safety initiatives, and providing a mix of administrative and clinical services. This is a full-time opportunity (40 hours/week) based in Milwaukee, WI. Some local travel is required.

Registered Nurse/RN – Employee Health Key Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with development of the employee health program, policies and procedures, securing supplies and equipment and developing systems for record keeping and equipment maintenance.
• Collaborate with internal and external resources for program development, such as infection control, laboratories, healthcare providers, third-party administrators, etc.
• Coordinate and participate in preventative screening and health surveillance programs.
• Assist in review, assessment and follow up on employee health surveys, exposure incidents, and COVID-19 related matters under the direction of the Clinical Nurse Educator (RN) or Infection Control Coordinator.
• Stay up to date on all job and employment related organizational policies, protocols and procedures
• Protect and maintain confidentiality of protected employee information.
• Assist in providing education and support to employees in employee health and safety related matters.
• Assist with identifying, evaluating, and implementing accommodations and return to work options for workers with restricted duty.
• Contribute in the design of controls for injury prevention and health surveillance related to actual and potential hazards in the work environment.

Registered Nurse/RN – Employee Health Job Requirements:

Education: Associates degree in nursing required. BSN preferred.

License: WI RN license in good standing and active CPR.

Experience: A Minimum of 4 years recent nursing experience, including one-year experience working in either an employee health clinic or infectious disease setting required.

Key Skills: Highly organized, proven attention to detail, accurate multitasker, effective communicator, and computer and paper record keeping proficient.

Work Schedule:

• 40 hours/week day shift hours primarily weekday hours (some weekend and evening hours)
