Starting salary for this position is: $3,734 (Monthly)
Employees starting at the entry step of this range receive salary step advancement after six months and every 12 months thereafter. If an employee starting at anything higher than the entry step of the range, will have salary step advancement after 12 months and salary step advancement every 12 months thereafter until they reach the top of the salary range. Each salary step advancement will be approximately a 5% increase in salary.

The Community Colleges of Spokane is seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual for the position of Corporate Training & Communication in the District Corp & Continuing Ed Division.
GENERAL DEFINITION
Under general direction of the Director of Operations for Corporate and Continuing Education (CCE), the Corporate Training & Communications Commerce Specialist develops and orchestrates the operations and revenue flow of corporate training programs with community organizations and business clients partnering with Community Colleges of Spokane (CCS).
This position will: facilitate contract procurement through lead generation and utilization of state contracting systems such as Washington Electronic Business Solutions (WEBS); perform proposal and contract writing in addition to analysis reports for potential client Request For Proposal (RFP) opportunities; serve as a primary point of contact for internal and external communications with clients; coordinate training logistics; travel to training locations; report outcomes, develop budgets, invoices and maintain matching-dollar documentation; assist in developing and maintaining the Corporate Training instructional talent pool; and ensure CCS and contractual partners meet all agreed to obligations. This position is also responsible for acting as lead in reviewing, developing, and coordinating electronic communications for all CCE outreach, to include email marketing, social media posting, the division’s website, and hard-copy brochures.
