ABOUT THE POSITION: DAJD is accepting applications to fill one (1) full-time Community Corrections Placement Specialist position. DAJD is seeking highly qualified candidates interested in making a difference for justice involved youth and their families. The Community Corrections Placement Specialist is responsible for screening, supervising and/or monitoring compliance of individuals placed into the Electronic Home Monitoring programs. The Community Corrections Placement Specialist plays a crucial role in achieving King County’s goal of providing safe alternatives to secure detention which contributes to the Zero Youth Detention Roadmap.

LOCATION: Patricia H. Clark Children and Family Justice Center, 1211 E. Alder Street, Seattle, WA 98122.
WORK SCHEDULE: The normal workday is eight and one-half hours (1/2 hour unpaid lunch), generally between the hours of 7am and 7pm. This position is overtime eligible, provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act. Work hours for this position vary. The individual selected for this position must be available to work a schedule that includes weekends, holidays, and mandatory overtime.

A valid Washington State driver’s license or the ability to travel throughout the County in a timely manner is also required.
