Position Title: Drupal Developer

We are a San Antonio based consumer products distribution company with over 36 years of excellence.

We are seeking a full-stack developer with Drupal experience.

Job Requirements: Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Build, test and maintain custom web applications (PHP)

· Custom module development as needed to complete projects requirements

· Work with other members of the team on problems, but also work individually as required by the project.

· Passion for writing fast and maintainable custom PHP and JavaScript/jQuery while ensuring backend performance best practices.

· Manage multiple Linux servers that run web applications and MySQL databases.

· Occasional advanced HTML assistance for content managers and advanced email blast builds that require more knowledge of HTML.

Required / Skills:

· HTML5 / CSS

· Javascript & jQuery (any other JS frameworks are bonus)

· PHP

· Ability to interact with a diverse group of people

· Excellent organizational skills; manage multiple long-term projects along with urgent projects

· Ability to effectively estimate time required for projects

· Professional, yet personable demeanor with excellent communication skills.

· Ability to explain complex programming tasks to internal management in an approachable way.

· A positive mental outlook

Preferred

· Database experience (MySQL and MS SQL)

· Linux server experience

· Bachelor’s degree or higher. (Experience and passion are more important, and being a constant self-educator is essential.)

This is a full time, on-site job. Contractors or remote-workers will not be considered.
