Currently, we are looking for a unicorn Full Stack Developer who will work under our Marketing team and when needed our development team (especially when there are crucial time-sensitive projects). Why a mythical creature like a unicorn? Well for this position our ideal candidate must have a keen eye for design (full mastery of UX and UI design), front-end development languages (TypeScript, React.js, SCSS, and HTML), backend languages (Go, and some PHP), and be able to design and implement user interface components for web and mobile applications using the React open-source library ecosystem; if you can do all of this to us you will be that majestic unicorn we seek.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Investigating user experience design requirements for our suite of digital assets.
• Understand how the user navigates and interacts on a website.
• Develop and conceptualize a comprehensive UI/UX design strategy for the brand.
• Produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, layouts, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes.
• Designing UI elements and tools such as navigation menus, search boxes, tabs, and widgets for our digital assets.
• Testing UI elements such as CTAs, banners, page layouts, page designs, page flows, and target links for landing pages.
• Collaborating with the marketing team, in-house graphic designers, external designers, and development team to ensure the creation and delivery of tailored experiences for the digital user.
• Providing advice and guidance on the implementation of UX research methodologies and testing activities in order to analyze and predict user behavior.
• Adhering to style standards on typography and graphic design.
• Designing and developing APIs.
• Meeting both technical and consumer needs.
• Staying abreast of developments in web applications and programming languages.
• Ensuring cross-platform optimization for mobile phones.
• Ensuring responsiveness of applications.
• Developing back-end website applications.
• Creating servers and databases for functionality.
• Developing front end website architecture.
• Understand how to read analytics data.
• Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• A bachelor’s degree in computer science.
• Minimum of 2 years UI/UX design experience for digital products and/ or services or full-stack development.
• A portfolio of professional UI/UX design work for both web and mobile platforms.
• Experience with the Git software version control system.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or similar SQL-based database systems.
• Proficiency with Go (Golang) as a backend coding language.
• Proficiency with TypeScript and JavaScript as a frontend coding language.
• Proficiency with the React.js framework.
• Proficiency in the following frontend markup languages: HTML, CSS, and SCSS.
• Proficient in the following technologies and software: Sketch, InVision, Visio, and Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Candidate must be a team player but can be autonomous as well.

• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with the Ruby programming language and the Liquid template language.
• Experience with Shopify and BigCommerce (Highly Preferred).
• Operations or systems administration experience, particularly on Linux.
• Experience with containers and networking with Docker and Docker Compose.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $120,000.00 per year
