General Accountant
Our client is seeking an individual interested in growing the breadth and depth of their accounting experience in a vibrant small business environment.
As the General Accountant, you will work directly with the CFO and upper management to manage the financial close and the reconciliation of sub-ledgers to the general ledger. You will have primary responsibility for Accounts Payable and will be an active participant in evolving all our accounting processes.
This is a job for someone who wants to learn and grow in their profession, who wants to get a better understanding of the entire accounting process in a small business for the benefit of both the company and in helping position themselves toward the next step in their personal development.
But perhaps more importantly, someone who understands the details, but also has the ability to summarize, see the big picture, and wants to learn how to communicate those findings in a clear and logical manner.
To that goal, the General Accountant will assist with annual budgets, monitor, and help create accounting systems, policies, and procedures, assist in monthly statements and year-end closings, developing weekly scorecards, and financial reports.
