Job Title: Human Resources Clerk/Safety Director
Department: Administration
JOB PURPOSE
The position of Human Resources Clerk/Safety Director is responsible for developing, implementing, training and maintaining Human Resource and Safety policies and programs as well as fostering and overseeing safety programs, practices and expectations that promote compliance with laws while maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
JOB RESPONSIBILITY SUMMARY
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, & ABILITIES
Education/ Required: 4 year post secondary education, or equivalent experience.
Licensure/
Credentials
Required: Valid Pennsylvania Driver’s License; High School Diploma or G.E.D. or an Associate’s Degree in Business or related field.
Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, safety or related field.
Experience
Required: Minimum 1 year experience in human resources and/or safety coordinator functions.
Preferred: Three to five years’ experience in human resources and/or safety coordinator functions in a manufacturing environment. Experience developing safety and OSHA programs.
Special
Knowledge/
Skills
Required: Human Resources and OSHA experience working in a manufacturing facility.
Preferred: Through knowledge of OSHA, MSHA, and ANSI regulations.
