SOFTWARE ENGINEER (5 positions): Frisco, TX & various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.: Handle all stages of software development life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, deployment and enhancement. Design the workflow and implement integration or customization. Build scalable data solutions, develop scripts and conduct performance tuning. Provide 3rd level support for the resolution of highly complex, technical problems involving big data applications and their integration into existing online sites. Large scale application implementation from proof of concept through testing and installation. Evaluate, develop, customize, and utilize advanced data tools. Collaborate with enterprise partners on issues and initiatives that impact the infrastructure. Provide expert technical support and consultation in application design, development, testing and technical support as well as guidance in Python, Java and Cloud Tools. Design, develop, and maintain data integration programs. Skills required: Big Data Technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, Hive, Pig, Sql, Kafka, Hbase, Python, XML, C, C++, Visual Studio and Java. AWS Services such as EC2, EMR, RDS, Redshift, Lambda, SNS, Cloudwatch, Cloud Formation, S3, IAM, ROUTE53. Master’s degree in Science, Technology or Engineering (any) with 1 year of experience in job offered or related occupation is required. Bachelor’s degree in the above fields along with 5 years of experience in job offered or related occupation is acceptable in lieu of Master’s plus 1 year of experience.
