The Logistics Manager oversees our inbound, outbound, and warehouse operations to ensure the efficient movement of goods. Our ideal candidate has strong leadership abilities, attention to detail, and demonstrated success driving year-over-year improvements in receiving, warehousing, and shipping.
Responsibilities:
Supervise and lead a team of employees, including shift supervisors and employees across multiple logistics departments.
Coordinate the receiving, quality assurance, and storage of inbound goods of a multi-million dollar warehouse.
Oversee the outbound order process, including picking, packing, and shipping.
Coordinate with supply chain and procurement teams to plan appropriate inventory levels and storage utilization.
Collaborate with other departments to integrate logistics within company processes.
Create and monitor KPIs related to warehouse efficiency, shipping accuracy, and productivity.
Develop and implement strategies to optimize shipping and warehousing procedures, reducing costs and increasing efficiency.
Resolve shipping and inventory control issues, such as delayed shipments, damaged products, and inventory accuracy.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices.
Qualifications:
BS in Business Administration, Logistics or Supply Chain
At least 5-7 years of proven experience in warehouse management, shipping, and logistics
Strong leadership and management skills
Proficient in standard logistics software
Excellent analytical, problem solving, and organizational skills
Exceptional communication and collaboration skills
Understanding of continuous improvement principles and a commitment to drive operational excellence.
